Torpedo cocktail Recipe
Here’s a classic recipe for a Torpedo cocktail:
Ingredients:
- French baguette or sub rolls
- Deli meats (ham, salami, pepperoni, etc.)
- Cheese slices (provolone, Swiss, or your choice)
- Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions (optional)
- Mayonnaise and mustard (to taste)
- Olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper (for dressing)

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the baguette or sub rolls horizontally, creating a top and bottom half.
- Layer the deli meats and cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
- If desired, add lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on top of the meats and cheese.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the top half of the bread.
- Place the sandwich in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper to create a dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the sandwich before closing it with the top half of the bread.
